A Lady Named Sandy – A Poem

Bay Oaks residents are grateful for the many volunteers who contribute to making this the best place to retire in South Florida. One of our volunteers, Sandy, frequently assists residents on shopping trips and other excursions, leads Bingo games and sometimes just comes by to say hello to everyone. Her company means a lot to all of us and we’re thrilled that our Poetess in Residence, Mrs. Bertha Fisher, wrote her poem of the day for Sandy:

‘Every day, she performs a good deed,-

By helping many folks in need;

She take them to receive medical care,

A most compassionate lady to find anywhere!

Like a guardian angel, as well,-

Blessed with the patience of Job, I tell!
