Thirteen years ago, Bay Oaks began its project to connect the clubhouse with the main building and expand our residents’ access to green, open space. This month, with our deepest gratitude to the City of Miami Commission and Chair Sarnoff, we are celebrating new, safe access for our elders from the main building to the orchard to the 35th Street Clubhouse.

The City of Miami has given Bay Oaks permission to remove the old metal fencing that separate our historic buildings and replace it with our signature wrought iron gates, thereby opening up areas for expanding the orchard, building beds for a new vegetable garden, and maintain safe access for our residents to walk to and from all parts of the property.

We are scheduling a soft Opening of our new Clubhouse and green space for December. Stay tuned!
