Carnival Cruise Line volunteers were at Bay Oaks on Saturday enjoying their monthly Bingo tournament and morning tea with residents. Carnival volunteers have been friends to Bay Oaks for years – and residents look forward to their company, entertainment and bingo-playing competition each month.
“Everyone is always very nice,” said Ms. Tucci (who turns 97 today!) “The volunteers do everything to make you happy.” Mrs. Swerdloff agrees, calling the people and families from Carnival “absolutely lovely always!”
Next month, residents will be wanting to get their bids in early to pair up with Lelia Bryant – the ‘luckiest’ volunteer of the day – or perhaps it will the volunteers edging to get Ms. Mims, one of Bay Oaks’ top bingo players!
